Jeff Warren, known to some as the Honey Man, discusses a wide range of honey topics. We’ll learn about crystallization, what to look for in labeling, fake honey, crime in the honey business – whether “local” really means as much in the world – and more. 
    Also, we’ll taste five different honeys (including a mystery selection at the end) – and vote   – including  Bring your questions – a clear palate – and hopefully you will come away a better-prepared consumer!!!

This historic building has been described as “a communal nucleus… a testament to local commitment.” Built in 1921, the Mohler Schoolhouse was acquired by Grange in 1931. Vivi Talllman, member and board president, explores its’ heritage, ongoing restoration and current events.

Carla knows the challenges of gardening in the Pacific Northwest. She is the author of two books on coastal gardening, is an Oregon State Master Gardener and lives in Rockaway Beach – her insights draw on a wonderful blend of experience and science.

Lorincz will be discussing how having the skills to edit and write helped her survive a sudden-onset, life-altering chronic illness, providing a path to build a new career while parenting a young child, and eventually offering opportunities she wouldn't have had as a teacher
